This piece has lived many lives. It began as a carefully planned floral painting—structured, refined, complete in form but lacking the energy that felt true to me. It needed something more. When I let go of control and surrendered to instinct, the composition unraveled, transforming into something raw, expressive, and fully mine.

Traces of the original design remain beneath the layers, a quiet echo of its evolution. This painting is more than a shift in technique; it’s a reflection of a deeper truth—choosing authenticity over expectation, movement over perfection, and feeling over form.
